Ch ild  T rafficking is a  wid e ly  spread phenomenon in Nigeria . Globally , chil d trafficking is one of the fastest growing organi ed crimes with  an  estimate of  1.2million victims per year, of which 32% are  African s .      Child trafficking whic h we know as the  recruitment , transportation , habouring or  receipt of persons  by means o f threat, or the  use of force or other forms of  coercion , of a bduction , of fraud ,  for the  purpose of  exploitation .          The Assessment o f Child Trafficking   in  the Southern Nigeria n  State (2004) reported that 46% of external trafficking , are children with a female to  ma l e ratio  of 7:3.
